1. But I'm not in shape, can I still do CrossFit?
Of
course! CrossFit is designed to give you a broad, general, inclusive
fitness. Sure, you have to work for it, but you don't have to already
be an olympian when you come in for your first workout. In fact,
we love working with ordinary people just as much as we love
working with world-class athletes. That's good news for us because the
vast majority of people are ordinary, by definition. Anyway, don't be
afraid to get up off the couch and come see us. We're here to help.
2. I'm an endurance athlete, should I do CrossFit?
Yes!
As a matter of fact, Jenna specializes in training Endurance athletes.
As an Ironman triathlete, distance runner, and cyclist, Jenna knows a
thing or two about training for endurance sports. CrossFit makes a
great supplement to your endurance training, and actually allows you to
cut back a little on your specific sport training. CrossFit will
deliver a broader, more general, more inclusive fitness than what your
endurance sport can give you. Jenna can also design a training program
that will help you excel in your sport with a minimum of time
investment. So whether you're looking for a winter-time break from
riding the bike trainer, or for a year-round supplement to your
training, come on in and talk to Jenna about how CrossFit can help your
performance.

4. But I don't play sports, why should I do CrossFit?
CrossFit
is about more than training to excel in your sport. If you don't have
a sport, that's just fine. At Bridger CrossFit we teach you to move
efficiently and effectively, and we help you become stronger and
healthier, so that you can remain independent and keep doing all of the
sport OR non-sport activities that you love to do. Gardening, cooking,
working on cars, and walking the dog all require a body that is strong,
healthy, and fit.
5. I'm too old/too young!
You are never too old
OR too young to start CrossFit. If you think you're too old, come on
in and talk to one of our lovely trainers. We can address your
concerns and help you realize that you're never too old to slow down
your aging process! And if you're a kid, you may join one of our Kids
Classes!
6. I did CrossFit once. The workouts were too short and I didn't feel like I got a workout.
CrossFit
is counter-intuitive. Our workouts are short but very intense, and
they work. All the magic happens with the intensity, but it takes
practice to be able to push yourself that much. Come on in, talk to a
trainer about your concerns, and give it another shot. You might be
surprised this time around.
