Introducing Coach Olivia

Introducing Coach Olivia!

Starting in 3rd grade was when I realized that I truly loved playing sports and being competitive.  In middle school played basketball, volleyball and track, but once I got into high school is when I wanted to focus on just two sports. I have always loved playing volleyball but my true passion was in track. The end of sophomore year is when I knew that I wanted to run track on the collegiate level. With the help of volleyball in the fall and track in the spring it naturally got me into a year round training regime towards reaching my goal of running track after high school. Senior year I signed with Montana State University on scholarship to become a Bobcat!

Being a part of the track team for the last fours years has been one of the most exciting, life changing and memorable parts of my life. I have been so fortunate to have had such great life impacting coaches and teammates through out my athletic career. Track has taught me the importance of many crucial qualities like accountability, leadership, motivation, mental toughness, teamwork, self-awareness and knowledge of every aspect of your body.

When I first enrolled as a freshman I wanted to be a doctor to help people but after my passion for track and all my track experiences I knew that needed to change my direction. I decided to change my major to sports therapy to not just make people healthy but also make them exceed what their notions of health and athletic potentials could be. Graduating this May with a major focusing on kinesiology, nutrition and psychology I knew that I wanted to further my love for fitness but not sure what route to follow for a job, but that was until I tried CrossFit. After my first class I instantly knew this is what I wanted to pursue. I then went and became certified as a CrossFit coach and have never been so happy. I want nothing more than for people to strive to be the best that they could possibly be and to meet every goal set. My goal is to reach out to people and try to change their lives and that they try to do the same. I am so grateful that Bridger CrossFit has given me the opportunity to do so in this great community as well as taking over kids classes starting in October! Four years of coaching at MSU’s little bobcat track camps has brought lots of happiness to my life! Working with kids is so rewarding and can’t wait to meet everyone! GO CATS!! :)
